  first, your GPA probably isn’t “ruined” by a single bad grade.

  second, it’s not “all because [you] wanted to push [your]self,” it’s because (with high probability) you slacked off in the class and didn’t really push yourself as much as you should have. even p/d/f classes shouldn’t be taken totally for granted.

  regardless, that sucks, yo, but you’ll be okay. it’s a learning process. just make sure not to do it again.
