I’m in the 4th quintile with 3.23, so I’m guessing “average” is around 3.3-3.4, or around a B+. Assuming the “average” student takes 4 classes a semester, 1 C and 3 A’s is a 3.5. So unless most Princeton students blow off one class a semester while focusing on the others, getting one C is not average. This doesn’t account for PDF’s, of course.
