  um, the town Princeton is incredibly safe. once in a while you hear about some middle aged dude exposing himself on campus, but generally that’s about it.

  as for the social scene, i can’t attest to that.

    I think a reasonable correction would be: the town Princeton up to Washington Road. Past that point on Nassau at night can be kind of sketchy.

    princeton is as safe as a college town with an open campus can be. still, it’s better not to walk home alone. people treat the “princeton masturbator(s)” as a joke, but he tried to grab a hold of one of the girls that saw him…

    I have friends at BYU. It’s the same there, except there’s an 80% chance you’ll marry the guy. So a bit different.

  Uhhh… Whoever said that is just fear-mongering. Princeton’s campus is one of the safest in the country. The only time bad things happen is really when girls get too drunk and then get in trouble with also drunk foolish frat boys.
