1) I thought black women were even less desirable than we are.
2) Saw some survey which indicated that an Asian man was about as likely to marry a white woman as a black man was. Doesn’t sound so bad to me.
3) Fine, so maybe people look at us and think we’re nerdy losers. Better than being thought of as violent criminals or illegal immigrants.

He might be onto something… the kind of discrimination faced by Asians is much “lighter” than that faced by other minorities.
~Cops don’t harass you for being Asian.
~Airport security doesn’t pull you aside “randomly” for being Asian.
~Fathers don’t get enraged when their white daughter dates an Asian.
~Women don’t cross the road to walk on the other sidewalk when they encounter an Asian at night.
~People don’t attribute your accomplishments to affirmative action when you’re Asian.
~Storeowners don’t look at you suspiciously when you’re Asian.
In other words, Asians are presumed to be hard-working, law-abiding, productive members of society – a presumption that no other minority enjoys.

I think you’re missing the point.
While what you say about Asian males is mostly true, it’s only terms of how they’re viewed by society. The OP is complaining about the discrimination faced by Asians males from women. Consider the following:
-There is a stereotype (fact?) that Asians have smaller penises
-Asian males tend to be short and un-athletic (although Princeton has a lot of tall Asians)
-Asian males tend to be awkward around women (from what I’ve observed)

Asian culture tends to be more deferential than white culture. This is not a problem for girls, whose sexual market value is determined largely by looks. But for guys, who are expected to be confident and cocky, this mildness is a big hindrance. Being cocky and cool by Asian standards doesn’t register on an American girl’s radar.
