South Korean has a great chance to go to the semifinals again. If they beat Uruguay, their second round opponent will probably be even weaker (looks like its probably going to be the winner of Ghana vs USA right now).

1. Beating Uruguay is not going to be easy with the way they’ve been playing.
2. If they do pass Uruguay, yes – I agree with you as they will have an easier time (compared to facing Uruguay) with the the USA or Ghana.
That said, I don’t think they’ll have an easy time against Uruguay. But since this is the World Cup – anything can happen so who knows!

because the Koreans looked oh-so-deadly against Nigeria…the way they created that masterfully orchestrated, spontaneous, creative offense…oh wait, I forgot about the reliance on set pieces, and the freak-misses of the Nigerians

Scenarios where Ghana advances as the second place team are hard to come by. I’d put my money on USA vs Serbia.
